This is a letter to the editor that we composed as a group in response to a tragic event which touched our community. Though this letter was not published I include it here because it is a wonderful and touching letter.

     
    Dear Families of those lost in the crash:
    We are sad about the crash near Mexico.  We saw it on 27 News, Channel 18, Channel 36, Fox 56, Herald-Leader, CBS, ABC, and Nightline. We were sorry and sad to hear about this.  We are sorry for your families, and we are sorry you didn't come to Lexington.  We hope that you will be OK during the Holiday Season.  We have feelings and pray for your loved ones in church.  We know the Angels are taking care of them. We would like to send flowers, plants, and cards.  We would also like to raise the Mexican flag in Rupp arena.  We will also listen to "musica" for you. We are thinking of you. God Bless you.
